Michael just alerted me that he did some filming for Daily Beast TV. There are two clips posted, one on Al Qaeda/Afghanistan and the other on the Supreme Court debate on health insurance mandates. I’ll add both to the site when I get home.
Also, am working on a transcript of Michael’s talk in NYC last week. There should be video as well. Wish these things happened faster, but you know how it goes, the J-O-B gets in the way!
Any idea on the movie/doco progress?
Still on-going, and even evolving. The way he described it now is that he is doing a sort of re-telling of Heart of Darkness/Apocalypse Now using the footage he shot during the early years of the war. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi can be seen as Kurtz, while Michael of course assumes the role of Marlowe/Willard. Really thought-provoking concept, especially as he reveals more details about some of the events that occurred.
Not sure if Mr Ware will see this, but I would like to know his take on the epidemic of military suicide going on in USA; and also is there similar problems with the diggers?
